Direct Sales Representative – East Rand
Own vehicle and valid driver’s license compulsory.
Candidate must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
To achieve Client’s Sales Plan objectives by actively selling products through:
Experience within the telecommunication industry, experience in Printer/Copier sales is compulsory.
Prospecting new accounts, developing, and maintaining customer support, identifying customer requirements for office equipment, matching customer requirements to existing equipment via written proposals, demonstrating equipment, resolving customer problems, ensuring proper installation of equipment, training customers on the proper use of equipment, and performing customer care calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell the products on offer in Office Automation, PABX, Printers/copiers.
- Reach target.
- Prospecting ongoing new clients monthly, updating Inform
- Developing and maintaining customer base and support,
- Identifying customer requirements for office equipment,
- Matching customer requirements to existing equipment via written proposals
- Demonstrating equipment
- Resolving customer problems
- Ensuring proper installation of equipment
- Training customers on the proper use of equipment
- Performing customer care calls to ensure customer satisfaction

- A minimum of 30 cold calls per day must be done.
- A minimum of 3 set appointments with potential customers per day and two new quotes.
- A minimum of 2 quotes per day

Quotes & Tenders:
- Quotes are done on according to customers’ requirements.
- Sales Consultant forwards Secretary quote to be typed.
- The Sales Consultant will then hand deliver the quote to the customer and discuss quote.
- Sales Consultant will collected Tender from customers.
- Tender discussed with Sales Manager, and General Manager and quote will be drawn up and hand delivered.
- All Quotes to be signed by Sales Consultant and Sales Manager. In the Sales manager’s absence the General Manager. Quotations invalid if not signed by the above signatories

Other
- Plans, organises, and prioritises the following sales activities on a daily basis: selling, intense customer prospection (cold calling), customer appointments, customer care visits, customer follow-up calls, customer training, demonstrations, and internal meetings. Ongoing Sales and paperwork training.
- Documents customer information (e.g., customer’s name and location, type of existing office equipment, customer requirements for new office equipment) on an account profile form to create a record of all customer prospects.
- Conducts regular post-sale customer care visits to answer customer questions, solve customer problems, maintain rapport with customers, and identify additional office equipment needs.

Remuneration Package:
- R15 000 Basic + Commission + Fuel
