Plumbing Site Supervisor & Support – Midrand
Stand-out opportunity for an aspiring, skilled and motivated Plumbing Site Supervisor within the Sustainable and Renewable Energy and Water Sector. Experience in Hot Water Plumbing is a requirement (at least 2 years). Any electrical experience will be beneficial.
Please note that the position is for the Gauteng but traveling in Southern Africa is a possibility from time to time. The position is primarily responsible for the supervision of plumbing projects such as Heat Pump installations – residential and commercial and will also be utilised for Support on similar installations/sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities might change over a period but the key responsibilities at the start will be:
- Maintaining of H&S procedures and the administration there-off.
- Maintaining of job administration.
- Working with the Project planning and management team – especially in preparing sites with building contractors.
- Managing sub-contractors on projects.
- Supervision of plumbing projects, especially Heat Pump jobs
- Working with the Support team to support clients after installations
- Quality Assurance on Systems/Installations
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience in hot water efficiency projects, electrical skills, and experience in the Photovoltaic industry will be beneficial. Please below find a general job description with the key skills requirements:

- Supervision experience – working in a team environment.
- Attention to detail problem solving.
- Interpret drawings, work orders.
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, word).
- Scholastic education – Grade 12.
- Plumbing experience, qualified plumber will be highly beneficial.
- Photovoltaic installations and understanding of systems will be beneficial
- General electrical experience will be beneficial.
- Working at Heights will be beneficial
General requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Own transport to client’s office in Midrand
- Languages – English/ Afrikaans
- Police clearance.
- Financial wellness clearance.
- Able to pass a medical
